Siem Reap, CambodiaTemples, a recovering country and economy, and some pretty great moments with the sun Thinking of Cambodia, a warm orange glow comes to mind. Its hot and humid air, permeated with the smog of burnt leaf litter and trash at all times of the day, laced with a particularly heavy and thick acrid smell. As a side effect, the sunrises and sunsets are particularly beautiful. But during the day, if you have your helmet visor down tight, the floating ash makes you feel as you are trapped in a snow globe of a lost civilization, rebuilding itself after a troubled past.

hi!We are gearing up for our year long traipse around Asia, Europe, and Africa! We leave San Francisco on January 31st to fly to Bangkok. This week weโre doing motorcycle training so when we head out from Bangkok to Vietnam, weโll be ready to put rubber to road immediately! Weโve got a busy month of clearing out our apartment, wrangling visas, seeing friends and family, taking advantage of quiet weekdays on the ski slopes, whittling down packing lists, and ironing out itineraries. Weโre excited to flesh this out with our actual travel plans, trials and tribulations of fitting a life in a 50L bag, and what itโs like to convince Russia to let you visit. โฅ๏ธ, Ryan + Camille
