We are gearing up for our year long traipse around Asia, Europe, and Africa! We leave San Francisco on January 31st to fly to Bangkok. This week we’re doing motorcycle training so when we head out from Bangkok to Vietnam, we’ll be ready to put rubber to road immediately!

We’ve got a busy month of clearing out our apartment, wrangling visas, seeing friends and family, taking advantage of quiet weekdays on the ski slopes, whittling down packing lists, and ironing out itineraries. We’re excited to flesh this out with our actual travel plans, trials and tribulations of fitting a life in a 50L bag, and what it’s like to convince Russia to let you visit.
